You have to love a jewelry designer who has a personal connection to each and every piece she creates by hand. I’m delighted to introduce you to one of the most delightful Francophiles out there, Kande Hall, the Founder and Designer of all things French Kande.

Located in El Segundo, a charming community in the South Bay, Kande and her husband Lenn have created a unique brand that’s family owned and run. With their daughter, Taylor, in New York City, it’s a full blown family affair. Beautifully aligned with the mission of the Fierce 50 Revolution, Kande is a proud member of our community with a powerful story of her own. This business was a dream of hers that became a reality when she turned 50. On a trip to France, Kande brought a piece of her passion back to the States in the form of a medallion and began hand crafting what she refers to as “vintage forward” jewelry. What a fun concept! Everything is new again and Kande hand selects each medallion as they all have a personal story and connection. She discovered these medallions from the 60’s during her many travels throughout France. Each piece has a history and a story waiting to be told.

Walking into their sunlit studio in El Segundo, Kande and Lenn warmly greet each and every person who walks in the door. With a full staff of on-site jewelry assemblers in the back studio, it’s quite an operation with a friendly and charming vibe. Kande loves to share her story of reinventing herself as an Entrepreneur and creative in her 50’s. She and Lenn are a powerful team, always putting the customer first with an emphasis on high quality production and craftsmanship. Kande taught herself everything she knows and she’s a role model to women at midlife showing that nothing can stop you when your heart is filled with passion!

The French Kande site is visually captivating with a gorgeous model named, Mel, who’s equally passionate about the designs. The pieces are made to last a lifetime with the intention of handing them down to the next generation. Every single design reflects the inherent beauty of the French culture. Using natural materials, every piece is hand cast locally in Los Angeles. Kande personally curates her selection and her instinctive creative vision is unsurpassed. I was blown away by the weight and quality of each piece as I watched the designers in the assembly process. Kande designs her pieces directly for the customer while bringing in her personal touch. Made from natural stones and pearls, the materials are unsurpassed. Both bold and feminine, this team has created a winning combination with you in mind. Kande’s So Cal attitude is an easy going one reflected in the ease of the designs that can go from day to evening in an instant.
