I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.” – E. E. Cummings

Ever have that feeling that you have too much on your plate and you are just overwhelmed!? Well, that was me this week. I am blessed to have this creative outlet, and putting on a breezy dress and heading out into Nature for a shoot always clears my energy! C’mon along!

The Eliza J website describes their brand as “…style, quality and a dash of vintage.” My style, as most of you know by now, is very Boho Chic, which really means a mix of Boho with some Chic added to the equation. Eliza J has a unique way of designing dresses that incorporate a bit of the current trend with the overall vibe remaining true to timeless classic styles.

Feminine and ethereal, Eliza J has designed a collection that’s for every woman at any age. As I’ve always loved the color blue, I couldn’t resist this floaty maxi dress that was a dream to wear. I found this beach tote by the brand, 6 Shore Road by Pooja, from Revolve Clothing awhile ago. They always have luscious new colors and designs that are so fun and can add a nice accent to a look. Don’t you love a beach tote that doesn’t look like your typical beach tote? I brought along my favorite Steve Madden suede strappy sandals in the prettiest shade of blue. I’ve linked a similar pair here. My beautiful friend, Cathy Williamson, @themiddlepageblog, recently brought me these fabulous inspirational bracelets from BuDhaGirl. Cath explained that each bracelet is designed with the concept of setting your own intention as each bracelet is placed on your wrist. I absolutely loved the inspiration behind the beautiful pieces. They’re a fun accent for day or night. I love an arm filled with bangles as it brings me back to the 70’s. I rarely take off my bolo choker by Awe Inspired as it’s meaning is very close to my heart. Awe Inspired is a company with a beautiful vision honoring survivors. This piece displays the Awe medallion which represents blood, sweat and tears of both joy and sorrow. Make sure to check out their website to celebrate the survivor in YOU or in your life.

We decided to head to Hermosa Beach for this shoot with it’s perfectly Beachy Boho vibe. I brought along my Michael Stars hat and Ray Ban sunnies that are absolute necessities living in the South Bay. Hermosa has a reputation as a laid back, surfing community. It’s one of the younger communities in the South Bay that is usually teeming with the bar crowd on the weekends. With ongoing festivals and movies on the beach, Hermosa is an awesome destination if you’re looking for a lively night out. The beach is one of the prettiest in the area, with wide open spaces and the a beautiful pier. There’s always a line of people under the Hermosa Beach Pier with cameras and phones, as it offers one of the most beautiful light displays when that golden light comes shining through. You can find Eliza J dresses at Nordstrom or at Eliza J’s website. With a spring collection that’s to die for, you’ll find that perfect dress for the Boho beauty in you. Check out their website for more fashion inspiration! Thank you Eliza J for lifting my spirits! Cheers beauties.

The 3 of us on my blog actually just did a series about maxi skirts and the possibility of wearing them in the winter! Seeing this beach & beautiful sun makes me a little jealous of your weather right now, ha ha!!
